The statement of the affairs ot' Mere ilith Soule. of Kamo (Wluingarei), wlo wasTately adjudged a bankrupt on a creditor'* petition, has been filed wi<h the Oflieial Assignee. Bankrupt was formerly a Presbyterian pastor at Ilik.irangi, and some time ago he had lawsuits with the church authorities in regard to the disputed possession of an organ and alleged arrears of stipt*n Is. In both cases he was unsuccessful. He states that while at llikurangi his stipend was considerably in arrears, and that his income was less than L'7.l a year. His arrears amounted to abo.it £IOO, but when he sued for this amount and other monies said to '<;■ due to him. he was non-suited. The liabilities are shown as C2JG and assets at €l4O, leaving a deficiency of ClOti.
