FIGHTS WITH PILLAGERS. THIRTY MILES OF TEMPORARY BRIDGES. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Paris, February 2. Marines encountered a band of brigi ands at Asnieres pillaging houses. The brigands returned a brisk fire, afterwards escaping by jumping from windows and swimming. The police shot two apaches at Bou-logno-sur-Seine. The entire valley of the Seine between Paris and Havre is flooded. At Rouen the quays, wharves, and suburbs are inundated. The old town is untouched, but the factories and shipyards are at a standstill. The Seine hay fallen four feet since Saturday. Sappers have laid thirty miles of temporary bridges. The boat service has ceased in most of the Paris streets owing to the water now being too shallow.
