BRIGHTON RAILWAY ACCIDENT
EVIDENCE AT THE ENQUIRY. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Received 2, 10.50 p.m. London, February 2. The evidence at the enquiry into the railway disaster at Brighton showed that the Stoat's Xest points were undamaged, but the front wheel of the derailed coach had shifted an inch < n its seat, probably during the journey. The company's locomotive engineer -was of the opinion that the bogie of this coach took the wrong road ;it the fixing point or just after.
