MOVEMENTS OF THE SCOTT EXPEDITION. LEAVES NEW ZEALAND IN NOVEMBER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Received February 3. 12.15 a.m. London. February 2. Commander Scott lands with McMurdo Sound. He then leaves six men at King Edward's Land for meteorological observation work. The expedition leaves New Zealand in November and spends January in erecting huts, and February and March in making provision depots for a distance of 300 miles before settling down to the Winter. A serious forward movement, follows in the summer. The head of the expedition has great hope of the motor sledges.
