The Rev. S. S. Osborne, president, occupied the chair. I ANNUAL REPORT, j The annual report, presented by the j secretary, Miss' Drew, stated that the ! I year had been one o£ ordinary effort, j nvit.li very encouraging results so far as j ( New Plymouth was concerned. The number of subscribers had increased, and the receipts totalled about £l2 more in the previous year. Many of , the outside places (the district extended [to l'atea) showed a los's of interest. The only places to send in returns during the year, other than New Plymouth, I were ITawera, Patea, and Eltliam. The 'oeal depot had been steadily progressing. Nearly £2O had been spent on it, and £OO had been remitted to London. Mr. N. K. MacDiarmid, the treasurer, vend the annual balance-sheet. The receipts amounted to £ll2 12s, and the expenditure £llO 7s 2d, leaving a balance in iin.nd of C2 4s lltd.
