High dive and springboard dive. — Stohr 1, Laing 2. Maxwell and Hawking the other two contestants, gave a Igood exhibition. 220 yards handicap.—Turnlmll (24sec.) 1. Pfankuch (scr.) 2, Wilson (24sec.) 3. Also started: C. Brown (."sec.), A. V. .Stohr (.j), Dixon (24). Whittaker (43). Won by about 5 yards, with Wilson about 2 yards behind Pfankuch. Awkward entry off chute. —West 1, Harle 2. About a dozen competitors. 50 yards handicap—First heat: Howell 1, Hawkins 2. Five started. Splendid finish.
