Palmerston N., Last Night. • The Palmerston Xorth Chamber of Commerce to-day passed the following' ■resolution in connection with the railway service:-- That as the Napier Chamber does not now consider it neces. sary to have daily communication with New Plymouth as supplied by the present railway service, this Chamber is prepared to support the new proposals of the Napier Chamber, ami to strongly press for an early connection between Masterton and Waipukurau and Palmerston Xorth. to arrive at Palmerston North not later than 11 a.m.
