For some time, thv police have been receiving complaints of burglaries in th ( > city and suburbs. On Wednesday Detective Oassels. who was in charge of the investigation, went to the Makarn hills, where in a dilapidated uninhabited whare they found a swag containing much stolen good*. They spoke to some of the residents from whom they had had information, with the. result, that this morning they li-i.l a telephone message that two men were acting in a suspicious manner near the hut. They found them there, and Tept up behind them and had the "bracelets'' on them before thev knew wnat. nan happened them. About. foiirte"ii charges of burcrlaw. al'"<red to have been committed between January 2nd and 17th. will be brought against them.
