There is an unsatisfied demand for good quality peaches, tomatoes, ami nectarines. The following are the ruling prices: Apples, local small 2s 3d to 2s Gd, llawke's Bay dessert 4s to ss; peaches. Hawke's Bay A grade 5s 6d to (is, B grade 4s Gd to 5s 3d. C grade 3s Cd to 4s Od: Xelson tomatoes 5s Gd to Gs 3d, apricots Gs 9d to 7s Gd, over-ripe raspberries 5d to Gd per lb, nectarines 7s, English dessert plums 4s to 4s' Gd, cooking 3s Gd to 4s Gd, Burbanks 2s to 3s Gd ease. Fruit.—We have been very busv with fruit sales since last report, and have found it necessary to hold daily sales.
