POLAR MEDALS AWARDED. The London Gazette announces that His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to approve of the Polar Modal I with a clasp inscribed "Antarctic, [ 1907-9," being granted to the undermenj tioned members of the Shackleton AntI arctic expedition, 1907-9, the clasp alone being awarded to thos'e who already possess the Polar Medal, the medal and ! clasp to be in silver for the shore party ! and in bronze for those who remained I with the ship: — I Sir E. 11.
