By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last, Night. The second round of the chess championship was concluded to-day. The match, Mason v. Rutherford, wae drawn, whilst Kelling lost to Barnes. The adjourned first round games resulted m Freeman beating Davics, Grierson resigning to Miles. The third round is in progress.
