ZEALAND RAILWAYS. SPORTS AT HAWERA. On Ist January trains will leave New Plymouth 7.40 a.m. and 9.35 a.m., Waitara 7.53 a.m. and 9.45 a.m., for Hawera, returning from Hawera 4.20 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. for New Plymouth, Waitara, and Huiroa. Holders of excursion tickets cannot travel to Hawera by the South Mail train nor return by the North Mail train on Ist January. GALA DAY AT NEW PLYMOUTH. REGATTA AT WAITARA. On Ist January special passenger train will leave Hawera 7.5 a.m. for Waitara and New Plymouth, and 7.20 a.m. for New Plymouth, returning from New Plymouth at 5.35 p.m. and 6.20 p.m., Waitara 5.45 p.m. and 6.40 p.m., for Hawera.
Special train will leave New Plymouth 9.15 a.m., arriving Waitara 10.17 a.m. Return trains leave Waitara 5.30 p.m. and 0.40 p.m. for New Plymouth. The usual 11.10 a.m, train, Hawera to New Plymouth, will NOT run, and the usual 4.30 p.m. train will he delayed, to leave New Plymouth 5.35 p.m. for Waitara, Hawera, and Huiroa. ■ ' The usual 7.10 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Stratford 7.30 p.m. for Huiroa. RACES AT STRATi'ORD. On Ist January special passenger train will leave New Plymouth 0.35 a.m., Waitara 9.45 a.m., Stratford 11.35 a.m., for Hawera, returning from Hawera 5.30 p.m., Stratford 0.48 pjn., for Waitara and New Plymouth. On Toko Branch ordinary train service will be suspended. Trains leave Huiroa 7.0 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 4.20 p.m. for Stratford, returning from Stratford 10.15 a.m., 3.0 p.m., and 7.30 p.m. for Huiroa. For further particulars see posters. BY OROE.iI.
