The Turkish Consul lias returned from a visit to Constantinople. Speaking at a welcome gathering of the changes noticeable in ovcry department of Turkish admiiiistiiicioii since the last revolution, he said they were astounding and due to the sound government and progressive attitude of the loung Turkey Party, which had conic to stay. The future prospects of the empire were were most promising, and in a few years it will have regained its former glory and be classed amongst the first Powers of the world.
