By Cable.— Press Association.—CopyrigTii Ottawa, Thursday. ■ Mr. Eoblin, Premier of Manitoba, and ■Mr. Hazen, Premier of New Brunswick, favored the contribution of Dreadnoughts and deprecated a tinpot Canadian licet. The Conservative Opposition in the Saskatchewan Parliament moved a recommendation for at least one Dreadnought, but the Ministerialists defeated the motion. Ottawa, December 24. Canada dins purchased the British cruiser Rainbow as a training-ship in the Pacific, and is negotiating for a second and larger warship for use on the Atlantic coast.
