.EOCLESIASTIOAL APPOINTMENTS. _ By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Bishop Julius has made the following appointments:—Von. Archdeacon On*. Hilgrovc Cosset, at present Archdeacon of Aknroa, to be Archdeacon of Christchurch in place of Ven. Archdeacon Avcrill, Tlishop-eloct of Waiapu; Hsv. Harold Edward Elisor, at present vicar ™ Phillipstown, to be Archdeacon of ARliroa. The Bishop, having decided *o attach an honorary canonrv of the Cathedral to the office of head of the upper department of Christ's Colic™ the Rev. Charles Walter Carrington has been appointed an honorary canon of the Cathedral. Archdeacon Gosset Archdeacon Elisor, and Canon Carrington will be instituted to their offices in the Cathedral at evensong on Thursday next.
