SPORTS AT HAWERA. / On Ist January trains will leave New Plymouth 7.40 a.m. and 9.35 a.m., Waitara 7.53 a.m. and 9.45 a.m., for Hawera, returning from Hawera 4.20 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. for New Plymouth, Waitara, and Huiroa. Holders of excursion tickets cannot travel to Hawera by the South Mail train nor return by the North Mail train on Ist January. GALA DAY AT NEW PLYMOUTH. REGATTA AT WAITARA. On , Ist January special passenger train will leave Hawera 7.5 a.m. for Waitara and New Plymouth, and 7.20 a.m. for New Plymouth, returning from New Plymouth at 5.35 p.m. and <i.2o p.m., Waitara 5.45 p.m. and 0.40 p.m., for Hawera. Special train will leave New Plymouth 9.15 a.m., arriving Waitara 10.17 a.m. Return trains leave Waitara 5.30 p.m. and C.40 p.m. for New Plymouth.
