SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, i Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and fore-1 cast are as follow:—The weather has been remarkably warm and fine, except about; the East Cape and Gisborne, where showers have fallen. Easterly winds have prevailed, with variable force! The present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, and are somewhat unfavorable, especially in the far north. An easterly gale is probable northward of the East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, and freshening northeriies shortly everywhere.
