PROPOSED VISIT FROII BRITISH TEAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. ' 'At a meeting of the New Zealand 'Hockey Association E. Nordon (chairman) stated that whilst in England recently lie discussed with some of the leading British fiockey officials re the question of the visit of a British team to New Zealand in 1911. The authorities at Home expressed the opinion that a thoroughly representative team could be got together, the members of which Would be willing to pay their return passages to New Zealand if the Newi Zealand Association -would undertake 1 to finance them whilst in the dominion. J The matter was referred to the executive to go into details. At a subsequent meeting of the executive, the following draft tour was' arranged provided the visit eventuates: Auckland, Taranaki, and Wanganui (at . Wanganui), Manawatu, Horowhenua and Hawke's Bay (at Paimerston North), Wellington, Canterbury, Otago and Southland. A New Zealand match also is proposed, at a centre to be decided on later.
