VICTORIA FAVORS THE PROPOSAL. By Cable.—Prew AuocUtion.-OopyiigU Received 21, 10.35 p.in. Melbourne, December 21. The report of the Assembly's committee on daylight saving recommend an advance of an hour on October Ist and put the clock back an hour on March Ist.
The Governor recommended that New South Wales ana South Australia 'w osked to introduce similar legislation, but If these States refuse, the committee considers that Victoria should act independently.'
