The Rarawa, which arrived here about 8.30 a.m. yesterday, made a very smart passage up from Wellington. While at that port she underwent cleaning and painting, and the vessel presented a line appearance while lying at the wharf. Her trip north last night inaugurated the new holiday time-table, which provides for a tri-weekly service.

THE KOTUK.U. The Kotuku is due about 3 o'clock this afternoon from Wellington, Ficton and Nelson. She will have about 325 tons of general cargo for this port and leaves for Onehunga after discharging.

The N.Z. Shipping Co.'s Rakaia, whieii is now at the Bluff, includes Waitara amongst its loading ports.
