LONDON JIARKKIS. London., December 13. Silver, 24 3-Ilid. The total quantity of wheat and flour alloat for the United Kingdom is 1,1)35,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,4.15,000 quarters. The Atlantic shipments total 322,000 quarters, and the Pacific shipments 55,000 quarters, LONDON MARKETS. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable messages from their London house, under date of the 9th instant:— Tallow.—Prices are 6i higher, Frozen meat quotations are as follows:—New Zealand prime ox beef, fores 2%d, hinds S%i; New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury, heavy 3'/.d, light 4d; North Island, heavy 3'/»'d, ljj'nt 3%d; New Zealand prime crossbred mutton. Canterbury, heavy 3%d, light 3V S J: North Island, "heavy '3'/ 3 d, light 3%-.l; Australian food average qualitv eiv.sbred lamb, heavy 3'/ 2 d, light 3%d; Ans Irnliaii prime crossbred mutton, heavy V/„A. light 4%d. Market for lamb and beef weaker, an,' mutton market unchanged. Stored New Zealand lamb is difficult of sale in comiM'iition with Australian stocks just landed. In view of heavy shipments of Australian lamb we expect that if any change in prices takes place it will lie in favor of buyers. Mutton may be :t----feeted in sympathy.
