Some wonderful shooting was done by tlie High School Cadets in the competition for the Weekly Press challenge shield. One boy, Lieut. 1 lind, miiJe possibles at each range, and continued shooting at the 100 yaviU' target until lie had made thirty-three successive bulls. Jiugler Kapley scored a possible at the 200 yards', and went on till lie had registered twenty successive bulls. The aggregate for the whole team is a record, and is 33 ahead of the winning score of last year. The team has hail possession of the shield for two successive years.
