There was a large attendance, and tiie sum of £,->437 passed .through the tote, making ±',12,018 for the meeting. The amount named is £2200 behind last year. Summer Handicap.—Waikaraka 1, Moloch 3, Bridge 3. Also started: Jlatanri, Advantage, Bismarck, Berengaria, Waiata. Waiata and Advantage were out in front for six furlongs, where they dropped back beaten.
