i TtK wool sales. By Telegraph.—Press Association. 'f Chris tchureh, Last Xight. The opinion of buyers at the end of to-d<. y's woiil sale was that fine wools "'. u Hhmie easier and medium nnj inferior wools firmer. For them classes these was competition amongst low] buyers and speculators. A lot of tlie 1 prices at the November tale for best lulfbred was i.V/,d, whilst onjy 14% d wm the highest prie# readied to-div. It was admitted, however, that the " wool was in better condition for the -November sole and that the special elln»f that brought the highest pricea were liaddock sheep, whereas most of the holfored and other fine crossbred clips v offered to-day were from front hill 1 stations. To-day there was more gener. al competition among outside buyers. Two Continental buyers, who from Australia, were prominent in the bidding, along with American buyers. A certain amount of business was done for Bradford, but the buyers from that h quarter wwe not "so prominent in their efforts to secure ".wool as the American and Continental representatives. Moat of the small offering of merino wis - taken by the local woollen mills, and local scourers secured the larger irj. oortlon of the lines suitable for th<tlr business at the previous sale, and it was their competition that no doubt n«. ! sutcil firm nrices for other than choi-e ■ '"* quality wools. ?J SS=SfiS»
