SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegriph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The itcv. Bates' nummary and forecast are r.« follow: The weather has continued fine, warm and humid over the North Island, but considerable rain has fallen on the West Coast of the South Island, and some showers in the extreme south. The barometer has fallen in the southern districts, but there has been little movement generally. The present indications are for unsettled weather everywhere, withstroig northerly and high westerly winds, especially about Cook Strait, and a failing barometer everywhere. More rough westerly weather is probable before a definite change to the south takes place, and this may now be expected after about 30 hours.
