The insurances amount to T( £IOOO. > •' LARGE FLAXMILL DESTROYED. ' *~ tl Cbristchnrch, Last Night. <f The well-equipped flaxmill property of j] Chas Leech at Rangiora was burned down this morning. The fire was dis- tl covered about 9 o'clock at the back of a C i shed. The men, being at work in front u of the building, did not observe the outbreak for some time, and the flames obtained a strong hold. Although there was * food water supply, and efficient lire appliances, it was found impossib'i >j to check the progress of the fire.
