CADETS' SPLENDID SHOOTING. ] By Telegraph.—Press Association. j Wanganui, Monday. Two hundred and ten cadets and .wentv-six teams, representing twentysix schools throughout the Dominion, tired for the Champion Cadet Belt, the Champion Shield, and the medals presented by the Wanganui Internal Defence League for annual competition. ' Cadet Morgan, of Oneliunga, male the possible (50), firing two extra shots (cfcli bull's-eyes), making twelve con- | ,-ecutive "bulls," and becomes champion cadet shot of New Zealand. Cadet Spurdle (Wanganui), Cadet Wooding (Geraldinc) and Cadet Macdonald (Ashburton) made -1H; Cadet Sontag (l)titiedin), Cadet Fountain (Port Chalnier:), and Cadet Blaek (Woodville), 47. Woodvillc. with a score of 354, was lirst in till.' teams shield competition, (ierahline second with 340, and On.!linnga third with 340. The belt winner was under the same company as Xcrgcuul Friar, who last ye n- sliot so brilliantly al Ilepi c for Lord Roberts' trophy.
