The Federal Minister for Commerce informed the Senate that negotiates were proceeding with Xew Zealand lo secure more favorable terms for the idmission o 1 Australian wines. The Co. vernmwit hull hoped the subject woald lie dealt with this session, but unfortunately the Government had not yet received a sufficiently satisfactory reply irom the Dominion Government.
