The majority of a committee of ihe Folkething, or the House of Commous in Denmark, has urged the arraignment of M. Christensen, ex-Premier, before a special State tribunal, on account of his relations with M. Albert!, ex-Minister or Justice. A petition eigned by 140,000 people was presented some time ngo to the King of Denmark praying that the allegations of fraud-against M. P. A. Albert!, formerly Minister of Justice, and head of the Danish farniers' organisation. might be investigated by (lie State Court. The petitioners deprecated the inclusion of M. J, C. Christensen as Minister for Defence in tlm present Cabinet. M. Christensen was Premier of the Cabinet of which M. Albert! was a member. The King rifused to intervene, and deplored the. suspicions against M. Christensen.
