The presentation was made 111 the stewards' room by Mr. Jenkins, Mayor of Waitara, who brielli- conveyed to Mr. Budge the club's appreciation' or Ills services, and their desire to show their appreciation in some tangible form. He then asked Mr. Budge to accept, a handsome silver-mounted travcllin« and gentlemen's companion, bearing the following inscription: ''Presented to Mr. A. W.
