Archdeacon Cole was a passenger to Auckland last night by the Rnrawn. Mr. G. T. Bayly iwa« a passenger bv the Rarawn from Onehunga yesterday morning.
Jlr. T. Y. Seddon, M.P., who had been upending the week-end in Xew Plymouth ik Iho guest of Jlr. B. If. Chancy, left for Wellington again yesterday morning. On Sunday he motored 'with Mr. Chancy to l'ariliaka and to the North Kgmont Mountain House.
A Cliristcliurch press message slates that the Hon. T. Mackenzie (Minister of -Agriculture) returned from Cheviot yesterday morning, and was engaged during flic day in looking into local mattivs connected with Departments which are under him. Mr. Mackenzie returned to Wellington by last night's steamer.

Evans, vicar oT Tew Plymouth, afterwards accepting charge of the vVailara parish, where fiis departure will cause great regret.
