There w.is keen (cnnoetition in Ayrshire* between Arch, cures (Hampden, the wcII-kno,vn prize-taker) and P. Ireland (tile successfill Goodwood breeder), tl„. former °nting practically all the first prizes. Representatives of V. E. Hellver's well-known breed of Jersey cattle gained nearly all the prizes in'their section Charles Briee (Christchureh) was practically the only exhibitor of pigs. The following oliampionshfps we.-e awarded to-day:—Shorthorn hull. A. Chamberlain (Ellcsmere); cow or heifer, G. Anderson (Wright's Bush); Polled Angus bull and cow, Murray, Roberts ano Co. (Gladbrook); Ayrshire hull, A. Gillies (Hampden); cow, A. Gillies; Alderneys and Jerseys, hull, A. Hellyer (N.E. Harbor)'; cow, A. Hcllvcr; dairy cattle, cow or heifer, R. J. Shaw (X.E Harbor); fat cattle, A. J. Keith (Ashbtirlon).
