PERSONAL.
Messrs F. C. Bellringcr and C. Vv. Browne have been re-elected to represent, the New Plymouth Borough Council on the Hospital Board. The death is announced of Mr. Peter Drcwett, for several years a faithful employee of the Borough Council as euslud'iaii of the Town Hall and readingroom.
Mr. D. McDonald, the present member representing lngiewood and Waita.-a borouglls on the Hospital Board, having Deen re-nominated, he has been declared elected. Messrs Brown, Hill, and Andrews leave been re-elected to represent the Taranaki County Council.
At the Borough Council meeting last night a resolution was passed tendering to the widow and family of the late Mr. .1. V. Slohr the Council's heartfelt sympathy and condolence m their bereavement. A similar resolution will be forwarded to the relatives of the late Mr. P, Drcwett, lor many years librarian and custodian of the Town Hall.
