RAILWAY TIME-TABLE.
To the Editor. ! Sir,—l don't think it is going too fur to suggest that the disastrous railway time-table proposed is due to New Plymouth's bungling. It's bungle nil alow; the line, anil the shrewd people, of Napier and Palmcrston North have eompletely outwitted sleepy New I'lymouthites, who fell into the trap ns .promptly as anyone in ihe two fcmer towns could wish. The bvrogle continues. The Chamber of Commerie moots at 3.45 this afternoon to endeavor to patch up the mistake it made in supporting the Na-pier-Palmerston trip. The Slayor wants a meeting at 4 o'. locic. Possibly the Mayor isn't in the r/ini tiiaf bungles, but it looks a fair thing for the Chamber of Commerce numibirs, purporting to work for the com mccial weal, to attend the public meeting inettad of having a little wail c.i their own. Let's make the public mei.ing a big and united one, just for on;c.—l tun etc., BUMtfiE.
