UNITED SERVICE A v. UNITED SEItVICJi: B. On Saturday the United Service B team defeated the A l 9 by six wickets on the first innings, thus securing a 2-point will. For tho winner's MeCord's bowling and Preslniw's score of 2!), compiled in his usual vigorous manner, are worthy lof notice. flihe Holers, Monk's innings of 2G was a fine performance, characterised by free driving. The A team played a man short. After the match was won, the B team eoatinued their innings, the last- six wickets falling for i) runs, thanks ehiclly to the bowling of Dinniss and Mackay.
