The plot is an excellent comedy one, and tiie points | follow one another very dearly anil yci rapidly and amusing. There is no lag from the rise of the curtain to its fall. Byron, the author, was very widely popular as a dramatist and lias writ Leu hundreds of plays ranging from melodrama to burlesque. "Our Boys" is generally considered the pick of them all. Tho caste arranged for this production is an excellent one ami will more than do the. piece justice. The characters are all good ones and one and all have a chance to amuse. The old' aristocrat* humbug, Sir Geoffrey Chanipucys will be played by Mr. A. 31. Bradbury. 11, dear, kind-hearted, wealthy and screamingly funny buttorman, Perlcyn Middlewick has a very fine interpreter in Mr. J. liastlicr. The two boys ("Our Boys") will be played by Mr. V. i''itzliei<bert, as the "johnny" son of Sir lieolfrey, wnu lias a "single ideah," and by Mr. Hill as the sensible, manly s'on of uii. I Middleivick. The well-fed servant 01 j Middlewick will :be (handled Iby Mr. G'oker, and Sir Jeffrey's leaner atteudaui. by Mr. W. 11. Jennings. Of the ladies, : Miss D. Bedford plays the haughty and rich heiress, Violet Melrose, her poorer and jolly cousin, Mary Melrose (Clarissa) being interpreted by Miss Joyce rit/JierCert. The fussy old sister of Kir tieoll'rey Jliis Doris I'itzherbert will represent, and last, hut not least, the delightful lodging-house slavey, Belinda, will be played by Mrs. Claudo. Weston. Excellent scenery is being prepared by Mr. Fred. Stevens, and good music is promised under the direction of Mr. W. l'erry. The box plan will open at Collier's at 8.30 on Friday morning, and those who wisih to book seats had better do so early.
