HOSPITAL BENEFIT. The chairman and secretary of tho Taranaki Hospital and Charitable Aid Board 'haw accepted an offer b,v Messrs Brooks and Cooper, late of West's Pictures, who have purchased one of the most modern picture machines to conduct business on their own behalf, and have arranged for a reguur supply of the latest and best productions of the cinematographic artist, 'o give a benefit for the New Plymouth Hospital at the Theatre I{<ivml 011 Thursday next. A varied programme of instructive, scenic, dramatic and comic films lias been selected for this special performance and the assistance of some of New Plymouth's vocalists i= also being obtained. The thoughtful generosity of the new proprietary and the fiict that the entertainment is to be a benefit to the local hospital should ensure a large house. The box plan is now open at Colliers.
