The new train services provide for several alterations, the chief of which are as follow: \\ ellington-Xapier train leaves Napier at 7.30 a.m. instead of 8.43, leaving Palmerston at 1.20 p.m., and arrives .i!| Wellington at 5.15 p.m. The train on I the reverse journey will commence from Thorndon at 10.50 a.m., arrive at Palmerston at 2.57 p.m., depart at 3.30, arriving at Napier at 9.20 p.m. The New Plymouth-Wellington mail train leaves Palmerston at 3.4" (instead of 3.40), arriving in Wellington at 7.23. On the journey from Wellington it leaves at 9.10 a.m. (formerly at 8.15 a.m.), arrives at Palmerston at 12.58 p.m., departs at 1.10 p.m., arrivn" at New Plymouth at 9.20 p.m. ° A daylight express will be run 011 the M&in Trunk during the holiday season, leaving Auckland each week day al 10.35 a.m., arriving at Wellington 7.21 a.m. daily, from Tuesdays to Sundays inclusive. On the reverse journey the express leaves Thorndon on Sundays to Fridays inclusive at 8.55 p,m,, arriving at Auckland at 4.40 p.m.
