| AT THE PIT-MOUTH TOUCHING SCENES. A THRILL OF EXCITEMENT. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright New fork, November 21. Renter reports that many touching scenes occurred at the pit-mouth. The wife of one of the Italians rescued kitted a rescuer's feet and then nMde bar children do likewise. There was a thrill of excitement a*d some alarm was occasioned when half the rescues ■were effected. Fire temporarily stopped the work, but a score vesh volunteer* deeeen.led and soon extinguished the flame*.
