Tile judgment dissolving tlie Standard Oil Company of New Jersey describes Ihtcompany as- exerting itself to prevent competition between the companies it controls. The compnny, it says, also fixes the purchase price of crude oil, the rates for its transport, and the selling price of itn products. Further, it prevented and is preventing any; competition in interstate or international commerce with petroleum and its products between subsidiary companies and between these and itseli.
Defendants, the judgment says, cnt°rcd a combination and a conspiracy (which is illegal under section 1 of (lie Anti-Trust Act), thereby monopolising a substantial part of the interstate and the international commerce, and violated section 2.
The judgment enjoined the Standnrl Oil Company of New Jersey from voting on the stock of defendant companies and from exercising a control of snp -r----vising these by virtue of holding stoels.
