Sailed, at 8 p.m., Kaituua, for New Plymouth. A BUSY DAY AT THE POUT. Yesterday four steamers were engaged in discharging operations, and the wharf presented a very busy appearance. The Rarawa, Regulns, Rosamond and l'utiki were all worked without ilill'iculty. During the day S3O tons of coal pa'ssed over tlie wharf. | THE REUULUS. The Regulus (Westport Coal Co.'s collier) arrived from Westport yesterday morning with 520 tons of coal. She got away for Westport again last night. TILE PUTIKI. Tlie Putiki, with 330 tons of Stockton coal for the Railway Department, arrived from Westport yesterday morning, and left on her return to Westport last night.
THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond, from Wellington. Pi> ton and Nelson, arrived here about 1 p.m. yesterday with 40 ton- of cargo. This small quantity is accounted for by the fact that the Koonya is picking up most of the Wellington cargo. The Rosamond experienced rough weather on the trip, causing some 'delay. She sighted the Union Co.'s trailing ship Dartford on her voyage up awl reported this to the Takapuna, which was bound for Wellington. The Rosamond left at 5 p.m. for Onehunga. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa, which arrived from Otehunga yesterday morning, brought lld tons of cargo, including 30 tons of manure, 2 tons of cement, 1:1 tons oi Hour. 11 tons of sugar, llil) cases of fruit and vegetables, ami 1(11) feci ol timber. She returned to Onehunga last night. THE KOONYA. The Koonya, after her .series of dciays. is due to arrive here this afternoon.
