The Luedko trio (Luedke, a clerk In the Berlin Provincial Court, Meyer, n conk, mid Wernicke, a evelist)', who went to (he First Civil Court, Berlin, donned the judges' rolies, and collected .£2OO in fees before their imposture was discovered, have carried out similar exploits at Leipsiz, Bonn, Ellierfeld and Dusscldorf.
A porter at the Leipsiz Court committed suicide out of vexation at being duped.
