SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last' Night. Rev.- D. C. Bates' summary and forecast are as follow:—Light rains have fallen in several parts, particularly on tlichigher levels, with a western aspect. Togs were reported this morning on the west coast of the South Island, and in Hie extreme north. The weather has' been generally warm and cloudy, winds northerly and 'freshening in the south to a gale being reported this evening at Cape Campbell. The present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, with northerly winds, stronger south of New Plymouth and Napier. Increasing humidity will probably bring more general rain, with fall in temperature and moderate southerly due about sunset to-morrow.
