The racing was of an interestI ing character. Results:— Ruamaiti Hack Hurdles, one and throe-quarter miles.—Stayboy (11.3) 1, First Rcumac (IMS) 2, Erl King (1M1) 13. Also started: Papahura and Fin de ■ Joie. Won by a length aad a half, three lengths between second and third. Time, 3mins. 20 ]i-sscc. Umutaoroa Hack, six furlongs.—Tc Puia (8.1!) 1, Golden Loop (lU3) 2, WaiOiiriki 3. Also ran: dipt. Hell, Glissade, Tc Roti. A nuigiiificent race, well contested througlioul, Tc I'uia coming with a rush at the I'mUii and winning by a nose, half a length between second'and I bird. Time, Imin. !."> 4-.")sc:-. From an uneven start, Equitas led amended by I'crolina and Strategist. Faltering the .straight Mcndip swooped on the leaders, winning by a length, half a leugth between second and third. Time, imin. 11 4-osec. Maiden Flat, four and a half furlongs. --Sea Eagle (8.0) 1, Celebrity (8.0) 2, Kimmerian (8.0) 3. Also started: Repeat, Waikchua, Raupare, Bonus, Gladioli, Ukuia, Captain, Miss Pigeon, Field Bell, Moree and Fashion Plate. A straggling start, Field Bell being left at the post. The rest of the field were at sixes and sevens. Sea Eagle drew, away in the straight and won easily by two lengths', half a length dividing' second and third. Time, s(i l-.wec. The other two | were neck and neck to the straight, where Voetgang drew out and won easily by three lengths. heat, 1; Kiminerian (7.10) 3. Also ran: Tooiiga, Conquestina, lied Wing, Apollinaris, May Flower and Amaru. Lady Doris led into the straight, chased by Xcedlemaid. A rattling finish.
