STATEMENT OF BALANCES.

ITlil' Audit Office having examined Hie Balance-sheet and accompanying Accounts prepared an in accordance with the provisions of " The Municipal Corporation* Act, 1008," hereby certilics to the correctness thereof, subject to the following exceptions: 1. The transfer from the lieneral Account to the Carnegie Library Account is without authority of law, and is therefore disallowed. i. The limit of unauthorised expenditure has been exceeded by £3 Ms (Id. D. Cemetery moneys have not been paid to a separate account at the i n Ic as required by Section 58 of ''The Cemeteries Act, l!)i)8,'' and the Borough Fund, to the amount of £4B 3s (Id, haß been unlawfully used for cemetery purposes. 4.
