President Tnftcablcd warmly congratm lating King Edward on the happy completion of another year, and wishing his Majesty health and happiness for long years to come. There were many birthday rejoicings in the colonies anil abroad. Mr. Montague, a guest, and brother of Lord Mimhornc, died from heart failure while shooting with King Edward and the Prince of Wales at Handriugtuuii. Deceased dropped wliile crossing ploughed goriind. The King and Prince of Wales hastened to assist him. but found him dead. The shooting was abandoned and the festivities -i: S-indringliam. iiHuding a thea'riral performance, were cancelled.
