BOROUGH COUNCIL'S PROPOSALS. The By-laws Committee recommended to Monday nights meeting oi the Borough Council that the borough solicitors be instructed to <lraft a by-law limiting the speed of motor-ears in Xew Plymouth under:—Devon-street from iLiardet Street to Queen Street, Brougham Street and Egmout .Street from Devon Street to St. Aubyn Street, Currie Street from Courtenay Street to Gill Street, not exceeding 10 miles an hour; turning any street corner within the borough not exceeding 3 miles an ■lionr.
