The Commanders of the Order of St. Michael include Mr. G. 11. Kcid (Sydney) ami Sir James Mills (chairman of directors of the Union Company). Companions of the Bath include Captain Chancellor (secretary of the Colo-
nial Defence Committee) and Lord Richard Ncvill (Chamberlain to Lard Dudley, Clovernor-Oeneral of Australia).« The Knights Bachelor include the' Hon. J. W. Taverner (Victorian AgentCereral), the Hon. Oeorge McLean (of the New Zealand Legislative Council), and Mr. Scott (secretary of the ComI monweaith Post Office). . The Commanders of the Bath include General Baden-Powell. The Honorary Commandcrship of the Order of the Indian Empire is conferred on Dr. Svcn lledin (the celebrated explorer). The colonial awards of the King's Police medal will be published in a few days.
