ACCIDENT IN SPAIN. By Cable.—Press Association.—OnpyrijM Madrid, November 5. Spain's new airship Espana was being tried at Meaux, when the steering-gear broke and the four men aboard loet control of her. She was last seen drifting seawards.
A SAFE DESCENT. Received Nov. 7, 5.5 p.m. Paris, November ,(k The airship Espagna descended safely at Melum, in France. AN AERIAL TORPEDO. Vienna, November 5. Bertucli, an Austrian engineer, has indented a diminutive aerial torpedo, It is discharged from a rifle, and is capable of bringing down nn airship from g' height of upwards of 3000 ft.
