; By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following i« the Rev. D. C. Bate->' summarv and forecast:—A slight redistribution of pressure lias taken place, .the barometer having risen slowly in tne north and fallen slowlv' in the south. The winds have freshened in parts, southerly northward of East Capo anil New Plymouth, and westerly elsewher?. The weather has been generally fair and warm, but .rain has fallen about East Cape. The present indications arc for moderate to strong southerly winds generally, fair weather in the north and changeable in the south, with showevs probable in the western and southern districts.
